Durian Durian

When I was on my trip back to Penang last week, I was having a very bad sore throat.
My dad knew that I love durian, and he bought half dozen of durians for me. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat because durians are bad for sore throat…
And durians sell like HOT CAKE in Penang !!

Today, when I was having my lunch at normal kopitiam near my house, there was a guy selling durian from table to table, and was rejected by everyone…
Sigh.. KL people don’t like to eat durians ?! what a waste…

    Durian is damn expensive in Japan, one durian can cost around RM30. Crazy!

    The durian in Penang also selling around RM30-RM50 ler.. each durian type has their own name too.

    RM30 only? Singapore one durian can cost S$20-40!

    yo jerry, am from KL and true enough, am not exactly a durian fan…on the contrary, my parents who are penangites are crazy over durians. so i guess u do make a point there, in a way LOL…
    very interesting illustration u have there with the sketching.
