Jerry went for a haircut

June 10, 2007 by 38kia

Ughh Saturday afternoon, it was raining and I was kinda lazy to go too far to my favourite saloon for a haircut. Thus I went for a nearer hair saloon to try out, who knows it turned out well and is cheaper, right?
So…

2p.m. – The hair stylist sounds friendly and nice. I could feel a warm and big welcome from them. I felt so comfortable to be in there with their services.

2.15p.m. - Hair wash, I love hair wash.
Especially when he was washing my hair added in a little massage on my skulp. Ooo ya.. feel so nice….

2.30p.m. - So the hair stylist started to trim my hair…

2.45p.m. - And he kept trimming and trimming my hair. OMG.. my hair…

3.00p.m. - My hair… The hair stylist still trimming my hair..

3.15p.m. - And he started to cut now. Cut cut cut cut ~

3.30p.m. - Non-stop cutting and I look so bald now. Then he offered to do a hi-light effects on my head. =.= I was like.. oh god..

3.45p.m. - Ahh.. putting colours on my head. HELP !!

4.00p.m. - Finally done… “OMG.. WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO MY HAIR ~~~~~~”

4.30p.m. - So I rushed to the counter wanting to leave the saloon.
The stylist said “Thank you, come again. Total is RM95.”

Now.. I totally look like …

“lala”.

Durian Durian

June 9, 2007 by 38kia

When I was on my trip back to Penang last week, I was having a very bad sore throat.
My dad knew that I love durian, and he bought half dozen of durians for me. Unfortunately I couldn’t eat because durians are bad for sore throat…
And durians sell like HOT CAKE in Penang !!

Today, when I was having my lunch at normal kopitiam near my house, there was a guy selling durian from table to table, and was rejected by everyone…
Sigh.. KL people don’t like to eat durians ?! what a waste…

I guess I bought the wrong scale…

June 7, 2007 by 38kia

I am currently putting on weight this month. Last week, I decided to buy a scale to see how is my progress on my nutrition plan. Thus, I went to Watson and managed to get a scale for RM34.90.

GOOD NEWS, ladies, I’m selling the scale for RM20. This scale is still new and not more than a week. I decided to sell it after I …….

Ughh.. which is real, which is fake?!

Got such thing called scale for men too?

Lazy to bargain…

On my trip back to Penang, I was actually planned to visit Kek Lok Si temple. There are so many stalls that are selling souvenirs, decorations, antiques etc.. that I think I could actually sell them on eBay.

So I climbed up to Kek Lok Si, under the hot sun, thirsty and tired. How I wish it was a fruitful trip I can gather as many goods as possible to sell on eBay.

And here’s the experience…

The Good Husband

June 3, 2007 by 38kia

I went to my cousin’s wedding dinner last night.
He and his wife are so lovely. So jealous to see how romantic they are. Sigh, How I wish I have a good wife, or how I wish I could be a good hubby one day…

For example:
Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company’s Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn’t taste like alcohol at all.

He didn’t even remember how he got home from the party. As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something wrong. Jack had to force himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose! Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed.

He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror.

Then he notices a note hanging on the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick:”Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to get groceries to make you your favorite dinner tonight. I love you, darling! Love, Jillian”He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast, steaming hot coffee and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating.

Jack asks, “Son…what happened last night?”

“Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and out of your mind. You fell over the coffee table and broke it, and then you puked in the hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door.

Confused, he asked his son, “So, why is everything in such perfect order and so clean? I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me??”

His son replies, “Oh THAT!… Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed,

“Leave me alone, I’m married!!”

;) Good one.
And I specially dedicate this story to my dad and mom.
They are a good husband and wife. I’m glad to be their son, feel nice to back to Penang…

My Handsome Dad – Father’s Day is coming soon!

My Pretty Mum – Thanks for everything. I’m weak.

Secret Recipe
I went to Secret Recipe in MidValley for dinner after my workout. I was so hungry so I ordered some big dish to fill up my stomach.
Just when my meal was ready after like..20mins of preparation, the whole restaurant gone blackout. =.=
I was so shocked because it was my first time having dinner in dark restaurant. I can still see my food, and people’s shadow. There’s still a deemer light from the Coffee Bean opposite.
Alright, so i forced to “swallow” my cheesy chicken as fast as possible, because it was getting hotter. I sweat alot.
Phew.. finally managed to finish my chicken, so time to call for bill and get some fresh air out there somehwere.
So I paid by my credit card, and guess what, their system broke down and my card couldn’t work through. Worse was, I have not enough cash in my wallet.. zzz.. I started to feel pissy now. So I gave them my IC and ran to ATM nearby to get money to make sure I got enough to pay for the bill.
I took some photos in there using my Cybershot handphone, I was thinking to show you guys how bad it was, eating in the dark (4 stars) restaurant.

My Handphone
So I finally paid the bill, and walked to the cinema, Shrek 3. Shrek is my all time favourite.
It was funny and entertaining movie. I reckon you guys at least try to make your free time to watch it.
Anyway, after the movie, it was almost 2am midnight. So I decided to rush home and pack my baggage because I have to leave early in the morning to go back to Penang.
Time to set my handphone alarm before sleep. Oh My Gosh, where is my handphone……

=..= gone~

More eBay brain drain?

May 31, 2007 by 38kia

Just browsed through some eBay bloggers site and found this shocking news !!

“I just learned that Dan Madden, former PayPal Seller Development dude (I don’t really think that was his title) has just left PayPal for a position with AdBrite. Many sellers have worked with Dan over the years and I’m sure they join me in wishing him well at his new position.

I’ve written several eBay Brain Drain posts over the last year and left it up to readers to read between the lines but no longer. I believe the changes at eBay since 2005 were brought about by a management battle for the direction of eBay and the consultants won.

I can understand one or two good people leaving for better opportunities but the list from eBay is growing daily. There has been an exodus of very good people since 2005 when John Donahoe was hired to run eBay’s Marketplace business. Employee morale must be very low right now. Might we one day see the eBay version of Yahoo’s Peanut Butter memo.

I have spoken or communicated via email with many of those people. Some of them are guarded as to the reasons they left while others just wanted a better opportunity. It looks like eBay’s old guard has left the building and in my opinion so has the heart and soul of eBay.

eBay is now run by consultants like John Donahoe who manage strictly by the numbers and have no connection to what made eBay great.

Note to eBay buyers and sellers, if you wonder what happened to the old eBay you knew and loved … its working for other companies.”

Sounds scary… @..@! Does it affect the future of eBay?
Could it be a good opportunity for newbie eBayers ?

SAY NO TO DRUGS !

The Story
After my work, as usual I walked to the carpark to my car and first thing that caught my eyes was the leaflet on my big windscreen. I roughly know what it is about, usually I chose to throw away without reading any info on it.

But this time, all that was in my mind was, eBay.. yes.. eBay is calling me.
Thus I picked it up and see what they got to offer..

Ohh, it’s a Chinese Herbal Viagra?!! (I don’t really know what does it called in English).
Do you trust this product? Do you trust this seller?

The Fact:
My sister’s ex-Boyfriend was selling these drugs/medicines.
He is earning RM 1,000 everyday. YES, EVERYDAY!
He has a few luxury cars and a bungalo in Penang. $_$ Thanks to these drug buyers.

The Market:
I tried to search eBay “Viagra”, “Ecstacy”, “Poppers”, “K”, “5″
There are no results. Some are the souvenirs with the name “viagra”.. lol.
Which I think, this market is HUGE. Why? High demand, low supply.

After my further researched and experiment, there are several ads around and this is what I found. A drug selling website owned in Malaysia : www.intimatepleasure.org

Wow…
And there are more and more sellers in the town to dig.

I recalled there was a guy chatted with me on MSN 2 weeks ago. We knew each other from friendster.com
And luckily I saved our conversation because I thought it was pretty funny :p

\\\\\
*THE FOLLOWING CONVERSATION ARE ADVISED FOR 18 y/o AND ABOVE:*

BTW, I never do drugs, ok. And I never sell drugs.
SAY NO TO DRUGS !!!

Real and Cruel story, from my conversation with my dearest Shaney.

May 29, 2007 by 38kia

Well, I don’t know what to say after I had a conversation with her like this.

I miss my mom, I miss my dad, I miss my grandpa & grandma. They are all live in Penang.

My grandpa is in China now, so left my grandmother alone staying in Air Itam’s house.
I started to feel insecure about leaving my grandma alone staying in the house.
What should I do ?! What should I do…
:(
